At the most southern point of Barbados PAX has designed a holiday home using local materials and built upon traditional methods.
The building and its large terraces offer great views over the ocean and has access to the beautiful beaches – a true surfers paradise.
Every design we do is deeply rooted in its context. Our approach to a successful design starts with a great understanding of the place.
The two floors has separate pools - a natural extension of the living spaces - with great views over the ocean.
Fluid spaces
The floorplans of this holiday home are designed as a “fluid space”. The open plan ensures indoor and outdoor becomes one - the big windows are designed to be opened entirely. Living spaces are facing the amazing sea view – both with access to a private pool. Imagine swimming in your pool overlooking the sea and the beautiful palm leaves. The weather on Barbados can be quite hot, therefore shade and the breezes are important to consider when designing.
